Any resident of Northern Nevada who is looking to embark on a journey toward finding a suitable career that comes with a livable wage is encouraged to call one of our regional offices. We invest our funding in those who are committed to completing training and focus on finding meaningful employment, so that you can get the help you need and leave our programs debt-free.
In order to get the most out of your experience with us, you must have a passion for starting your meaningful career, a desire to become self-sufficient and a determination to acquire the skills needed for a career.
When you walk through our doors for the first time, you will meet with your Career Training Coordinator for coaching and guidance throughout the process which includes:
a brief eligibility and suitability conversation;
a pre-enrollment information session to review JOIN's services;
a survey of your skills, competencies and natural abilities related to the workforce;
selection of appropriate training courses based on your chosen career field and your individual employment plan
