Position: Lead Personal Care Attendant/Caregiver

Compensation: $13.50 /hr (paid training) $1000 SIGN ON BONUS **$500 after 40hrs worked and $500 after 100hrs worked**

Schedule: Full-Time and Part-Time

Hours of Operation: Flexible

Location: Reno and Surrounding Areas

POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Lead Caregiver, you will be at the forefront of the company working in a rewarding, challenging, and dynamic environment as the go-to person for our members! In this important role, you will be responsible for supporting individuals in need of immediate assistance. You will provide care for those who choose to maintain a quality of life in their own homes and communities. Successful candidates will travel to the member’s residence to provide in-home services. These human services are typically directed by a state plan to adequately assist and provide outstanding and personalized day-to-day care for each member. Experience in Assisted Living caregiving a plus.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Provide compassionate, empathetic, and professional in-home care to elderly and physically disabled members. Consistently uphold a client-focused approach.
Complete daily personal care and light housekeeping tasks for clients in the home, including but not limited to: assistance with bathing, laundry, making beds, cooking meals, toileting, shopping, assistance with dressing, etc.
Show competency in time management and multi-tasking, while utilizing strong active-listening skills.
Strive to exceed the needs of the client in accordance with company, federal, and state guidelines.
Display an optimistic and flexible personality, capable of receiving direction and feedback.
Respectfully communicate with clients, their family, administrative employees, etc. on a daily basis.
Work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Work both independently, and with teammates at times. Must be self-sufficient and effectively use resources to best serve the needs of the clients.
Ability to interact, evaluate circumstances, and subsequently offer solutions. Effectively display good judgment in making decisions, and reporting emergencies.
Maintain confidentiality and do not discuss identifying information of any client outside of the company.
QUALIFICATIONS

Submit a Statement of Good Health or recent physical
Must pass background check – DPS Fingerprint Clearance
Current CPR and First Aid Certificates (hands-on course)
Current negative TB test ( 2 step skin test or Quantiferon blood test)
