JOIN Inc. provides career-building opportunities with access to free educational and occupational training to Northern Nevadans in 13 counties.
Our career-based training programs are often free or low cost to ensure you don’t have to take on debt when seeking new skills. These training programs are available through our regional offices to ensure you can find the training site closest to you. Eligible individuals will receive a variety of services including occupational skills training, work experience opportunities, and employability skills training.

We use an individualized comprehensive case management model that is tailored to you. The minute you walk through our doors, you’ll be greeted warmly and given the coaching and guidance you need to achieve your goals. After an initial conversation, an information session and a survey of your skills we’ll help you select appropriate training courses in your selected career field, and you’ll be on your way.

JOIN provides access to career training and work experience opportunities in in-demand industries that impact Nevada and the Lake Tahoe Basin. These industry sectors may vary as our economy grows more diverse.
The minimum age is 17; there is no maximum age. JOIN prohibits any discrimination based on age, gender, race, nationality, veteran status, religion, disability, or sexual preference. JOIN offices are ADA accessible and other reasonable accommodations may be made when requested.

JOIN currently does not pay clients a salary to participate in a training program or work experience opportunity. We want to see you succeed, so before enrolling in a JOIN program, your career training coordinator will ensure you are able to support yourself and your family while you are in training.
Yes! Most of the career training and work experience opportunities are free for eligible JOIN clients. If a training cannot be fully funded through JOIN, our dedicated career training coordinators are here to help you apply for other funding sources so you can complete training as debt-free as possible.
There is no charge for any JOIN service if you are an eligible client or employer partner.
